Personal Data Protection Law

Personal Data Protection Law, which is one of the subjects we have been working on since the day we were founded, has gained great importance with the entry into force of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") on 7 April 2016.

Our founder, Prof. Dr. Murat Volkan Dülger, has done a significant part of his academic studies in this field, and has published numerous opinions, evaluations and articles on the subject after 2016. Prof. Dr. Dülger has a very comprehensive book titled Personal Data Protection Law, which was first published in 2020. In the book in question, both the theoretical and practical aspects of Personal Data Protection Law are discussed and it is aimed to be a guide for practitioners as well as academic studies.

As Dülger Law Office, many adaptation projects were carried out after the KVKK entered into force. In these projects, studies were carried out in cooperation with companies specialised in the field of informatics.

Currently, we provide legal consultancy services in the field of Protection of Personal Data to companies operating in different sectors, especially banks and automotive, IT, healthcare, service and production companies. Within this framework, we carry out studies such as analysing the current situation of companies, identifying missing and faulty points, creating and/or updating compliance documents and answering the questions and requests from departments on the subject.
